Barry Brown and Lisa LaForge began Barry Brown Photography in 2002 while pursuing their bachelor degrees from the University of Colorado. The intention was to grow the business while they both finished school and to have it established when they graduated. Since then, Barry Brown Photography has earned the reputation as one of the premier photography studios in Colorado, and is known throughout the industry for providing exceptional images and outstanding customer service. When you do what you love, it shows.

Barry Brown is the founder and primary photographer of the studio. Barry balances his artistic and technical abilities with his business talents. An award winning photographer with a background in fine art photography, Barry has a passion that not only shows in his fresh, fun images, but is evident in the care he takes in every aspect of his business. Barry's fine art images have appeared in local and state-wide venues, including the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center.
Lisa LaForge is Barry's wife and a talented photographer in her own right, with fine art training and hundreds of hours behind the camera. Lisa has learned much about photography from Barry through her experience as an assistant and second photographer. Lisa has a knack for capturing those indefinable, intimate moments throughout your day and is particularly talented at photographing children. Not only does she have the creative and technical ability to take great photos, Lisa has an upbeat personality that puts people at ease and helps to make the photography part of the fun.
